Helena has enjoyed sports and exercise since childhood. Growing up in a mountain area in the north of Czech Republic she did lots of alpine skiing, cross country skiing and ice skating in winter and mountain biking and hiking in summer. After finishing college degree in Economics and Finance and getting her first job she started to participate in various group exercise classes including step aerobics, kick box aerobics and zumba classes and finding a great enjoyment in them. After moving to London, UK and meeting her husband she started regularly swimming with him and also cycling to work. After six years in the UK she and her husband relocated to Los Angeles, following her husband’s career change. California weather brought lots of options of being active outdoors all year round so both of them engaged in a lot of cycling, swimming and running. Soon after moving to Los Angeles their son Aidan was born. Helena discovered Baby Boot Camp when she was looking for a new way to work out and get back into shape after having a baby. After nearly three years training with Baby Boot Camp she certified as an instructor with AFAA.
